1. Where are you from, tell us a bit about your background.
I am originally from Royal Berkshire, a small market town called Newbury. I started my apprenticeship when I was fifteen years old and worked at the Hilton Hotel.
2. What exactly does your position at Killeavy Castle Estate entail?
My role at Killeavy Castle Estate is Head Banqueting Chef. Producing high-quality food, from canapes and main courses to reductions and soups. Ensuring each and every one of our guests are happy and have had an enjoyable experience.
3. What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I love working with all the different departments at Killeavy Castle Estate. From the expert team of chefs, the events management team and all the way to the gardeners. We have an amazing array of people, and when put together in one place, the results are outstanding.
4. What do you love most about Killeavy Castle Estate?
Killeavy Castle Estate is a completely unique place. Being able to pick home-grown vegetables and herbs is a real treat! The views are breathtaking from the castle, and it is really a beautiful place to call my work.
5. What is an interesting fact about you?
An interesting fact about me is that I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I lived abroad just outside the city of Malaga for ten years where not only did I learn the language but also the Mediterranean cuisine.
