Our four purpose-built, self-catering, dog friendly residences are located within the grounds of Killeavy Castle Estate and consist of a self-contained, Woodside Studio apartment, one-bedroom Woodside Cottage, three-bedroom Gatelodge and five-bedroom Woodside Residence.
Build your love of nature on the estate's extensive walking trails of Slieve Gullion, or explore the countryside on a mountain bike or e-bike that can be hired onsite. With countless activities on offer around the Ring of Gullion (a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,) our residences are a perfect gateway to an unforgetable adventure or a tranquil escape.
Access to the hotel's Gullion Restaurant, Bistro Bar and Elemis Spa within the estate means pampering is on your doorstep. As an estate with self-catering accommodation, ample parking, the estate Farm Store (open seven days per week), we offer the best of both worlds to our in-residence guests.
The guestrooms within the residences can only be booked as a whole, not individually.
Our purpose-built self-catering Gatelodge is located at the entrance to the estate. Sympathetically designed to embrace the sweeping views, this light and cosy two-storey residence can cater for up to six adults within three guestrooms. Each spacious guestroom contains a king-size bed, with two of the guestrooms being suitable for double or twin occupancy.
A fully fitted kitchen with all modern amenities including laundry facilities, dining area and lounge with a wood burning stove plus a large family bathroom upstairs and a separate shower room downstairs means the Gatelodge is the perfect base for that longer retreat experience.
Access to the hotel's Gullion Restaurant, Bistro Bar and Elemis Spa facilities within the estate means pampering is on your doorstep. As a hotel with self-catering accommodation, we offer the best of both worlds to our Gatelodge guests.

The Woodside Residence at Killeavy Castle Estate is a spacious, purpose-built residence located within the estate's grounds with private parking. It provides a home-from-home experience with plenty of space inside and out and incredible scenic views of the Ring of Gullion.
The residence comprises five double bedrooms (two with en-suite) accommodating up to ten adults, a master bathroom, a lounge with a wood buring stove, dining area and an extensive fully fitted, modern kitchen. The lounge provides direct access into the garden and large terrace with a fireplace.
The Woodside Residence also has the option to be combined with the adjoining self-contained, Woodside Studio apartment, creating a six guestroom self-catering residence. The apartment offers a kitchenette, shower room and spacious, open-plan guestroom with floor to ceiling windows and patio doors leading to an outside terrace.
Whether for a reunion, celebration, or peaceful retreat, the Woodside Residences are the perfect choice for your group gathering. Reserve all three accommodations: the Woodside Residence, Woodside Studio, and Woodside Cottage. Together, they offer seven double guestrooms, accommodating up to fourteen adult guests. The fully renovated, gated Woodside Cottage is the latest edition to the Killeavy Castle Estate Residences. A short stroll from the main hotel with private parking, the Woodside Cottage is nestled at the foot of Slieve Gullion providing direct access to the many walking trails, and is within easy walking distance of Slieve Gullion Forest Park.
The master bedroom comprises a king-size, four-poster bed and en-suite, rain shower bathroom. A bright, yet cosy lounge features the original fireplace and a wood-buring stove. A modern kitchenette and estate Farm Store provides the flexibility for a fully self-catering experience.
