Killeavy Castle Estate has been named as the Tourism Business of the Year at the Greater Newry Business Awards for the second consecutive year.

Celebrating excellence and recognising outstanding achievements within the local business community, the Greater Newry Business Awards took place on 15 June at the Canal Court Hotel, where Killeavy Castle Estate won the Tourism Business of the Year category which specifically acknowledges enterprises that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to delivering exceptional visitor experiences and promoting the region as a top tourist destination.

Killeavy Castle's victory in this category for a second year is a testament to its unwavering dedication to providing unparalleled hospitality and creating unforgettable memories for its guests. With its stunning castle backdrop, luxurious accommodations, and a team that is passionate about and committed to providing top-tier hospitality, the hotel has successfully established itself as a premier destination for both leisure and corporate travellers.

"We are incredibly honoured to be named Tourism Business of the Year for the second year in a row at the Greater Newry Business Awards," said Jason Foody, General Manager of Killeavy Castle Estate. "This recognition is a reflection of the hard work and commitment of our entire team who consistently go above and beyond to exceed our guests' expectations and to put Killeavy Castle Estate and South Armagh on the tourism map. We are proud to contribute to the growth and promotion of tourism in the greater Newry region."

The exceptional location, accommodation, service and dining offering at Killeavy Castle Estate has played a vital role in attracting tourism and driving economic growth within the local area.

As Killeavy Castle Estate continues to excel in the hospitality industry, the team remains devoted to maintaining the highest standards of service and creating memorable experiences for each guest who walks through its doors.

In addition to being named Tourism Business of the Year, the founder of Killeavy Castle Estate, Mick Boyle, received the Diaspora Award at the Great Newry Business Awards, in recognition of the contribution that he has made to the local economy and to tourism and hospitality in the South Armagh area with the opening of Killeavy Castle Estate.
