Killeavy Castle Estate is proud to announce that two members of our management team have received top accolades at the Institute of Hospitality Northern Ireland (IoH NI) Awards for Professionalism 2023.
These awards, the longest-established in the Northern Irish hospitality industry, recognise the most talented individuals who have made a recognisable contribution to their place of work and to the industry in general, with the judges undertaking rigorous interviews with finalists in order to determine the winners of each category.
At the awards ceremony, which took place on 8 September, Terry, Kelly, Sales and Marketing Manager at Killeavy Castle Estate was named ‘Commercial Manager of the Year’ in recognition of his exceptional dedication and expertise. Speaking about Terry as a candidate, the judges said, "The winner showed energy and enthusiasm along with an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the role. They showed a desire to continue to grow their skills and knowledge aligning with business strategy."
A second win came as our Front Office Manager, Cecelia Holloway, was announced as ‘Front Office Manager of the Year’ at the awards, with judges praising her as "an exceptional candidate, outstanding across all responsibilities, an extremely passionate individual - a credit to her organisation."
Commenting on the wins, our General Manager Matthew Hynds said: “We are thrilled that two members of the Killeavy Castle Estate team have been recognised at the IoH NI Awards for Professionalism this year.

The Institute of Hospitality Northern Ireland Awards for Professionalism are the most prestigious awards in the Northern Ireland hospitality industry. For 25 years, these awards have celebrated outstanding individuals who have made remarkable contributions to their organisations and the broader hospitality sector.
